On November 6, 2023, the delivery ceremony of first truck cement was held for the 7,500TPD Clinker Cement Production Line Project in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, which was invested by China Energy Construction International Group and jointly contracted by AVIC INTL Beijing/KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD) and Jiangsu Hengyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd., The first tanker loaded with 50 tons of bulk cement slowly drove out of the plant, which marked that “CESAM” cement of CEEC had officially entered into Uzbekistan cement market.

Since the project officially started construction on January 1, 2022, in the process of construction and production management, the project company has strictly implemented the basic "334" engineering construction and project management "ten" requirements, integrated management, optimization of processes, tacit cooperation, the establishment of key nodes milestone targets, to achieve the goals and tasks "ring ring"; in the clinker and cement production process, the project company departments and offices of engineering and technical personnel excellence, strict control of the indicators and parameters. In the process of clinker and cement production, the engineers and technicians of each department and office of the project company strive for excellence and strictly control the index parameters to ensure the production of high-standard and high-quality cement products. The cement products produced this time are characterized by strong stability, high technological content, green, low-carbon and environmental protection. The project company will aim at high standard, sustainability and benefiting people's life, and contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to promote the green and integrated development of the cement market in Uzbekistan.

The project is the largest single cement production project in Central Asia. Since the successful ignition of the rotary kiln test production on September 26, it has created a record of the fastest construction speed of cement production line of the same type. The project adopts the most advanced production technology and equipment of KHD, and the production line indexes are the most advanced in the world. The project is planned to produce about 2.72 million tons of cement annually, which will greatly contribute to the supply of green cement in Uzbekistan, and inject a new impetus to the development of the building materials industry in Uzbekistan. With the in-depth promotion of China's "Belt and Road" initiative, the project company will further promote the transformation and development of greening, digitization and integration led by innovation, give full play to the industrial chain advantages of technological strength and equipment manufacturing capacity, and follow the trend to sail overseas and recreate a new Hengyuan Group.
