Warmly Welcome Ms. Jiang Yan, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan to Visit the Project Site of Hengyuan Cement Factory for Guidance

On the afternoon of March 11, Ms. Jiang Yan, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan, accompanied by the Lieutenant Governor of Samarkand State and the Deputy District Mayor of Kata Kurgan District, investigated the construction site of our company's 2*4000TPD clinker cement production line. Mr. Zhai Wanming, Director of Group Company and general manager of Hengyuan(Uzbekistan) Cement Joint Venture Co., Ltd., and vice-general manager Mr. Zhu Zhongshun and project manager Mr. Du Jinbing, warmly received Jiang Yan and her party.

During the investigation, the Ambassador Jiang Yan inquired about the investment scale, the cement production capacity, the investment amount, and the construction progress of cement plant project, and whether the process equipment can meet the local environmental requirements. The general manager Mr. Zhai answered related questions in detail and expressed that HY Group's investment in cement project in Uzbekistan both in the production of environmental technology and on the construction progress were walking in the forefront of the Chinese enterprises in the same industry. The Ambassador Jiang Yan reported relevant issues to the Lieutenant Governor of Samarkand state who is in charge of investment, and applied to the Samarkand state government to provide related facilities for the Joint Venture to the extent permitted by the policy. She suggested that Mr. Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, can be invited to visit the site when the Hengyuan cement project reaches a certain level.

The leaders of the Joint Venture accompanied the Ambassador Jiang Yan to visit the construction site and explained the overall plan of the cement plant to the Ambassador Jiang Yan in detail in front of the renderings. At the invitation of general manager Mr. Zhai, the Ambassador Jiang Yan came to the temporary construction area, visited the front-line staff of Hengyuan, asked about their living and working conditions, and shook hands with them one by one. Afterwards, the Ambassador Jiang Yan delivered a passionate speech, required safe and environmental protection measures during the construction process of the cement plant, and completing the construction with quality and quantity guaranteed, and establishing a good image of Chinese enterprises in the local area, so as to win honor for the country.
