On July 27, the update meeting of “Excellent staff canteen” and “Great staff speech” was held in Jiangsu Hengyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd. Han Shijun, Vice Chairman of Yangzhou City Federation of Trade Unions, Ji Jing, Vice Minister of the Municipal General Network Publicity Department, Guan Jian, Deputy Director of Jiangdu District Market Supervision and Administration, Zhang Yongxin, Chairman of Jiangdu District Federation of Trade Unions, Vice Chairman Jiang Xiuwen, and Gu Ziqing as well as chairmen of trade union of 63 enterprises in Jiangdu District and relevant persons in charge attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Xing Xia, the Minister of Human Resources Department. On behalf of HY, the chairman of the trade union Wang Xue accepted the honorary titles of “Excellent staff canteen” and “Great staff speech”. Director of Production Plant Zhu Liyong and Minister of Safety Department Wang Zhengrong also attended the meeting.

The participants first listened to the speech of "Listen to the Party, Follow the Party" held in HY. With the theme of "Fighting with epidemic, Keeping healthy, and Promoting development", the speech was rich in the content of “Seven Ones”, and also shared a short film "Disease Raid"; Cao Ying, a nurse in the Department of Internal Medicine of Jiangdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine who supported Wuhan during the epidemic, was invited to share the story of fighting with epidemic and tell the touching story during the epidemic. Hengyuan employees sang the song "Be Ordinary" and poem recitation "Heroes' Praise" and other programs to praise the selfless dedication of anti-epidemic workers. A volunteer professor of Jiangdu District Federation of Trade Union taught a mental health class for everyone to help employees in the current situation of the epidemic. The participants actively raised their hands to answer the questions in the epidemic prevention and control and production safety knowledge contest. The atmosphere was lively and the speech was a complete success.

Gao Qi, Director of General Management Department of HY, led the participants to visit Hengyuan staff canteen. At the meeting, 27 “excellent staff canteen” selected from the city and district were commended and awarded. At the update meeting, Yan Deping, Section Chief of the District Market Supervision and Administration, interpreted the creation standard of “excellent staff canteen”. Guan Jian, Deputy Director of the Market Supervision and Administration, fully affirmed the canteen of Hengyuan Company and put forward standardization requirements for good canteens at the grass-roots level. Zhang Yongxin, Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, pointed out that the “Excellent staff canteen” and “Great staff speech” of HY was a great example. The canteen, which is clean and tidy with complete facilities, meets the needs of front-line workers. The “Great staff speech” with distinct themes and rich contents has a high degree of participation, which meets the ideological needs of the staff and workers eager to display and grow up. He stressed that the construction of “Excellent staff canteen” and “Great staff speech” is an important platform for trade unions to lead, serve and unite employees. It is necessary to stimulate the enthusiasm and motivation of the staff through the construction of the activity, so as to realize the fundamental purpose of leading the staff to "listen to the party and follow the party".

Han Shijun, Vice Chairman of Yangzhou Federation of Trade Unions, stressed that to carry out the construction of “Excellent staff canteen” and “Great staff speech”, we should earnestly undertake the responsibility and mission of leading, serving and uniting the workers. First, we should have a sense of the overall consciousness. Through the construction, we should grasp the hearts and stomachs of the employees, solve the worries of the employees, and stimulate their enthusiasm and motivation, so as to realize the purpose of guiding the workers to "listen to the party and follow the party". Second, we should have mass consciousness, respect the pioneering spirit of the staff, benefit the staff by running well the activity, and enhance the satisfaction and sense of gain of the staff, so as to let the staff really get exercise and growth. Third, we should have a sense of responsibility and undertake the responsibility of physical and mental development for staff to carry out the activity persistently to establish a long-term leadership mechanism, management mechanism and evaluation mechanism, and truly realize the responsibility and mission of trade unions.
