Signing ceremony of the 6th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum (Yangzhou)

On Dec. 11, a five-member official delegation headed by Mr. Marhatov, Deputy Director of the Uzbekistan Transport Department and Mr. Agozhamkhdreev, Consul General of the Consulate General in Shanghai visited our company. First of all, the Uzbek delegation visited the production workshop and administrative building of our company to have a comprehensive understanding of our strength in equipment manufacturing and engineering contracting. Then, the two sides deeply investigated the possibility of cooperation in Uzbek transportation infrastructure construction, logistics and customs clearance and other industrial fields, and also discussed      the possible problems of the progress and implementation of the 2×4000TPD cement plant, which is invested and constructed by Gansu Hengya Cement Co., Ltd., the subsidiary of the company in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan indicated that it would provide as much support as possible to cement plant investment projects in terms of equipment and material transportation, raw material and fuel transportation, cement sales transportation and personnel visa in the future. On the evening, Mr. Xu Huilong, the chairman of the company, was invited to join the welcome banquet of the 6th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum which is held by the Yangzhou Municipal Government and accepted by the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Wang Chen and the Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Lou Qinjian with Uzbekistan delegation. During the banquet, Chairman Xu further chatted with the Uzbek delegation and other delegations from four Central Asian countries. 

 

 

On December 12, the 6th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum (Yangzhou) was held in the Shangri-La Conference Hall. During the meeting, witnessed by more than 200 politicians from five central Asian countries and representatives of relevant Chinese departments and enterprises, Chairman Xu Huilong and The Consul General of Uzbek Consulate in Shanghai signed an investment cooperation agreement for 2×4000 TPD cement plant in Samarkand, Uzbekistan which became the single project involved the largest amount during the cooperation forum.
